Zerotonine Hooboy, it doesn't get any more 80's than this. Clean production. Synth leads and Simmons toms out the arse. Unabashedly funky as fuck. This dude has been making music since the 80's and it shows! That keytar isn't just for show and are especially prevalent during the instrumentals. Favorite track: Ozone Surfing.

Dimi Kaye Disco feeling, uptempo sweet vibes, great production, great melodic lines, great playing, great album. Here we have a collection of songs that feel like Damokles was having so much fun making them and that carries over to the listener. Just press play, you'll want to dance. Superb release! (Btw 1988. That's the date that comes to my mind while listening. Don't know why, but I love that it happens!) Favorite track: This Time We Made It Through.

about

Damokles has been around as an artist under different names since the 80's. Somehow his music tends to gravitate back to synthpop in different ways. In that genre we find influences from Yazoo, Human League, Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, OMD, Moroder, Faltermeyer, KraftWerk, JM Jarre and many others. Today his music is defined as synthwave and REDM.
