Jessy Mach's Final Lap is an intoxicating mix of retro-synth energy, otherworldly rhythms and guitar skill. The entire album is full of life and unfolds in an exuberant flash of emotions and retro futuristic layered synthetic sounds.
It's an entertaining and engaging listening experience. Many of the tracks take us deep into the 80's generation to the arcades where gamers spent all their evenings and money.It's a feeling that happens when you listen to it, it's not a musical technique. Jessy didn't decide to compose in 8bits or to do video game covers, but he transports us here and there in last laps or chases reminding "Hard drivin", "Chase HQ", "Ridge racer" and other retro gaming legends. Get this in your head, Mach's music and your imagination will do the rest.

I don't know what it is, but in DWTD's discography this record really stands out to me. Picking a favourite track is difficult because all of the songs sound incredible to me, but POISON is probably the most fresh and energetic song in my opinion. zWarhead
