about

-------------------------------------------------------------
Mono Memory is a synthwave artist based in Edinburgh who is creating music powered by 80’s nostalgia. The project was conceived in 2016 as a means to explore the music that provided a prominent soundscape during his formative years. The debut EP – ‘85 – is a reflective collection of tracks inspired by old family VHS footage. The film depicts a snapshot of his parents’ life in Sydney between 1985 and 1988.

Notable influences include: Carpenter Brut, FM-84, Arcis, Mitch Murder, Timecop1983, Electric Youth, FM Attack, College and Kavinsky.
